Sometimes we need just THAT thing to make us bounce back to reality. Sometimes, like a slap in the face, we need just THAT thing that can stick a needle in our high and make us fall like a wilted balloon. Sometimes is feels good to know that THAT thing is nothing more than a lesson, a means to an end. Sometimes when all we feel is THAT thing, we realize that our personal growth is relying on so much more. Sometimes all it takes is THAT for your humility to surface and like a poet I encourage it.
Whatever THAT means to you. Please inhale it, exhale it and blow it away because THAT will not sustain you.
THAT...happens to me often, almost too often but I think i live for THAT...waiting and testing THAT like a wild fire, for it to spread and cause reason for me to change my current direction. Keeps me fresh but stings like a bee for sure! But, I dont think the high would be as good if we didnt constantly have THAT chasing us around, keeping us motivated to not stay comfortable in the current place we are in...because we all know that THAT happens right when we finally sit down to get comfy in the place we think we are happiest in...forcing us to strive for something more, something better for ourselves. Keep reaching, for sure. enter. resting.
ReplyDeleteWell said KalinaRoss. THAT is the thrill of life! I agree with you. It's the point of knowing that THAT is/was as in most things, temporary, and recognizing that the sting won't last, the high will fade, the energy will drop, the rush will recede and like a tide, it won't stay. But, should we avoid THAT? Hell no. But, we should learn when THAT is no longer adding to our lives or enhancing it and therefore THAT should now be asked to leave as THAT's part is over in my story. We should be more open to a sting but also more open to knowing when it becomes counterproductive instead of a temporary high to ride. As you know, like Karma, Reality will introduce herself over and over, and sometimes THAT was the ticket to Reality's show... enter.resting.. Love ya :) Connected across the miles at the core!
